Sunset Safaris is
a tour company operating out of the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine
Coast. We offer Eco Adventure tours to some of the most prestigious natural
attractions in Queensland, ranging from 1-day charter tours to 5 & 6-day
safaris.
Sunset Safaris has been in operation since 2001. The business has been
created by three brothers, with over 30 years of combined experience in
tour guiding on Fraser Island, Great Barrier Reef, Moreton Island and The
Outback.
Sunset Safaris started on Fraser Island as a sub-contracting company for
other Fraser Island operators, and finally in 2005, we gained our own
permits to start working on the Island under our own brand name. Our popularity
preceded us, as within the first three months of operation on Fraser Island,
Sunset Safaris became the largest 4WD multi-day tour company to Fraser Island
from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Sunset Safaris is now triple the size in capacity and booking numbers to
our closest competitors. We continue to grow at a rapid rate due to our great value and the
awesome experience that we give to all our customers.
We have a fleet of 4WD vehicles ranging from a brand new big bus,
which holds 40 passengers, to a
small but comfortable forward facing 4WD mini bus. Our tour guides are tour professionals, with an
intimate knowledge of Fraser Island and the Great Barrier Reef and the Gold
Coast Hinterland. All Sunset Safaris tour guides are required to have a PHD in
Fun-ology, we make people happy!
